Really? I don't understand what's not to love about a Troika (and I don't think there's anything wrong with the packaging either), the flavours and textures work wonderfully together. But, I guess people have different tastes. :) I would recommend Walters Mandler as another Norwegian candy bar. I always get one when I go home to visit friends and family. It's vaguely reminiscent of Smash! when it comes to flavour (BTW Smash! was first sold in bags with just chocolate covered bugles rather than in bar form - also lovely), but there's way more creamy milk chocolate flavour and some nice crispy caramelised nuts. I just finished the last of mine now, which I have been eating bits and pieces of since I came back from Norway 2 months ago.

So you didn't like it, good that leaves all the more for me and the rest of us who really enjoy the three layer (troika) candy bar. Chocolate goes so well with raspberry and marzipan. Must be European tastes, there's no peanut better in it!

This tastes great, sounds like it was a bit old though... the marzipan is supposed to be soft.
